Kay was one of the kindest, most caring and sweet person I have ever known. Her family was her pride and joy. She was a friend of mine and our children went to school together and where friends. Even though our children are grown with families of their own, she never hesitated when I would see her to ask how they were doing and genuinely cared, she was just that kind of person. I pray a peace that only comes from God over her family during this difficult time.

Mrs. Miller was my 5th grade teacher at Southside. I believe it was her first year teaching. She had a wonderful personality. She made learning fun. She was a true angel on earth. May God bring comfort to her family during this time of loss.

So many years of my teaching career were spent with the infamous Kay and Pat. Except for times when they tried to roast me like a hot dog, I was so blessed. (They had the thermostat on their side of the building. Poor me.They bundled up for a breeze!) We laughed so much, enjoying our professional experiences together. Because of our togetherness, I learned so much and loved so much.

I have never known a kinder soul. Kay was not only a colleague, she was a dear friend. I’m going to miss her terribly.

Kay was a dear friend of ours. Her love of life, family and God was her foundation. Patty and I are truly better people for having known her. May she rest in eternal peace with our Lord.

Ms. Kay Miller was the prettiest lady to ever enter the doors of Northwood Elementary School. A lot of the kids thought she looked like Carol Brady (Brady Bunch), and Ms. Miller wasn't putting on an act to be like the TV star either. Everyone that knew her is going to miss her a lot. She was a friend to everyone. Rest in Peace.
