Mack Stewart Collins of Crestview, FL departed this world for the streets of gold on April 12, 2019. He was born in Geneva County, AL but moved to Crestview so he could play high school football. He was a graduate of Crestview High School. He served in the Navy during World War II, serving his entire enlistment at Whiting Field. Mack was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Mack enjoyed fishing and he was an avid gardener until he was 92. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Fena Collins and his daughter Gena Collins White. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Sharon Adams and her husband Ronald, son-in-law Roger White, grandchildren Gene Adams, Victoria Adams English and husband Clay, and Rebecca White, great grandchildren Matt Adams, Andriannah Adams, Erica English, Kaiden English, and RyleighLynn English. Mack is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Collins Walden and brother Tom Alec Collins, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be John Love, Billy Franklin, Lamar Stevens, Doug Sims, Wes Galbrath and Geoffory Riley. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday April 17th, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. and the service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church 824 North Ferdon Blvd, Crestview, FL Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
