Madell Corbin Johns, age 100, of Holt passed away peacefully Saturday morning, March 10, 2018, at her home. She was born February 8, 1918 to the late Cody and Martha Corbin. She worked for Monsanto for many years and was retired from there. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, painting and arts and crafts of any kind and was a member of the Red Hats Club, Prayer Shawl Ministry. Madell was a longtime member of Holt Assembly of God. She loved traveling, loved her family and loved the Lord, Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack (Buddy) Johns, Jr.
Madell is survived by a son, Uley (Hymie) Bass, Jr. and his wife, Margaret; daughters, Martha Ann Bass Brinley and Sybil Grace Bass Moore; Brothers, Gene Corbin (wife, June), Tim Corbin (wife, Beverly) and David Corbin (wife Corrine); ten grandchildren and well as numerous great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 11:00AM at Holt Assembly of God, with Pastor Jay Tyler officiating. Burial is in New Holt Cemetery.
