Mae Hazel Carnley

Mae Hazel Carnley, born November 8, 1922, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. She was born in Laurel Hill, FL. 

May Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Lloyd G Carnley. She is survived by three children, six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

She retired from Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative where she had been employed as a Data Processing Programmer.  After retirement, she served her community with the Council on Aging and with the Supervisor of Elections in Walton County.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Florala, Alabama.

Services will be held at the Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, FL. beginning at 2:00PM, June 15, 2017. Service will be conducted by her pastor and friend Brother Charlie Lennard.  Burial will follow at the Clear Springs Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
