Martha Martin

Martha Martin age 89 of Crestview passed away on Wednesday November 6, 2019 in Thomaston, GA. She was born in Rockmart, GA on August 28, 1930, to Augustus and Rosa Holland. Martha has lived in Crestview for more than 40 years. She worked at Richbourg Junior High in the lunchroom for 27 plus years. Martha loved to go shopping and loved to take trips to Biloxi with her husband. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook, especially for her family, and she was always there to help take care of her family as well. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Martin. Survivors include her daughters: Rose Ann Fieseler and her husband David of Thomaston, GA, Jennifer Lee Garrett and her husband Sandy of Greenville, GA, and Donna Lynn Slavens of Crestview, FL; Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren: Heather, Brett, Brittany, Blair, Erica, Riley, Chris, and Kristen; along with 12 great grandchildren. A graveside service for Martha will be held on Monday November 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
