Mary Annette Edge

Mary Annette Tucker-Edge passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side including her wonderful companion Joseph Michenfelder on the evening of August 10, 2019 at the age of 80, after a lengthy illness, at Belvedere Commons in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Born May 26, 1939 in Laurel Hill, FL to J. Malcolm Tucker and Katie Day Tucker.  Mary grew up in Crestview graduating from Crestview High School.  She and Carlton Edge married and moved to Fort Walton Beach where she resided until present.  Their thirty-three year union produced three children.

Annette is survived by daughters Donna Shipe (Donnie), Regina Bird (David), and son Timothy Edge (Ginji). Grandchildren, Jennifer Duke, Dallis Shipe, Alexandria Jordan, Jessica Bird, Reise Edge and Darby Edge.  Great Grandchildren Averie Duke and Jacob Duke.

Annette is also survived by her sisters Gladys Bryant, Jeanette Atkinson and Jackie Riley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Quinton Tucker and sister Diane Burge.

Donna and Regina would like to thank the staff of Belvedere Commons, along with Regency Hospice Nurse Sherry Lee for the incredibly sympathetic and loving care shown to our Mother and our family.

Annette will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all whose life she touched.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 17th from 11 am to 12 pm at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, FL.  Annette will be laid to rest at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Crestview at a later date.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in Annette's memory.
