Mary Alice Woods

Mary Alice Harris Woods, age 56, went to be with her heavenly Father on, Monday, May 7, 2018. Mary was born on April 20, 1962 in Columbus Mississippi to Windo and Dorothy Harris.

She was a member of Praise Power and Compassion Ministries, enjoyed reading, traveling, singing, shopping and gardening.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Charlotte Harris.

Mary is survived by her husband, J.W. Woods; sons, James W., Jermaine W. and Jamar A., Woods; daughter, Lanisseah D. Jackson; brothers, Michael R. Harris, Jerome W. Grant, Joe D. Grant, and Andrew Hairston; sister, Keniya L. Harris; grandchildren, Justice A. Woods, Deric M. Jackson, Jadynn A. Garrett, and Jalen A. Woods.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am at Praise Power and Compassion Ministries  with the Celebration of Life starting at 11:00am. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 12:00pm.
