I graduated with Opal at Baker High School in 1951. Opal and I had the lead parts in the senior play "Granddad Steps Out". Forty five plus years later at class reunions Opal would always bring up the senior play and we would chat about it. I will always remember Opal.

It broke our hearts this morning, going to the nursing home to play Bingo and to find out Opal had passed away. She was such a joy to be around. She looked forward to us bringing her books each week to pass her time, and it was an honor for us to do it. We grew very close the year that we knew her.She was just a very special person and we will miss her each Saturday when we go to the nursing home. Family, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. SUCH A PRECIOUS CHRISTIAN LADY!
