Obituary

Sharon Grubb age 75 of Crestview passed away on Saturday November 30, 2019 in Tyler, TX.  She was born in Milton, FL on December 11, 1943 to Howard and Lilla Wilson.  Sharon has been a lifelong resident of the area.  She was a member of LifePoint Church in Crestview.  Sharon worked at Walmart for 13 years; she loved to read and sew and loved to take pictures.  In her younger years Sharon enjoyed playing golf and bowling.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Jimmy and Randy Wilson; sister Melba Wilson and her daughter Laura Biserchich.

          Survivors include her husband of 57 years Tom Grubb; daughters: Connie Terry and husband Jason, Bonnie Ditto and husband Charles, Sharon Lilly and husband Mark, and Linda Gibbs; brothers: Clayton Wilson, Eddie Wilson, and Larry Wilson; sister Ruth Wilson.  Also surviving are the apples of her eye her 11 grandchildren: Bobby, John & wife Cori, Tommy & wife Kate, Mark, Jake, Kevin, Robyn, Marissa, Miranda, Lilla & husband Kurt, and Emily; along with 2 great grandchildren: Benjamin and Aiden.

          A time of visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.  The celebration of Sharon’s life will be on Friday December 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Home Cemetery in Holt, FL.
