W. N. "Bill" Clark

W. N. “Bill” Clark, age 71, of Baker, passed away at his home Wednesday morning, May 29, 2019. He was born in Canton, North Carolina on September 19, 1947 to the late W. N. Clark, Sr. and Eva (Sams) Clark. Bill was a good Christian man of the Baptist Faith. He was employed by Century Link telephone company as a Central Office Supervisor, retiring after 20 years. Bill’s passion was serving his community through his long and active membership in Crestview Elks Lodge #2624, where he was a past Exalted Ruler and longtime Lodge Secretary. Bill is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Betty M. Clark; two daughters, Terri Rawasia and her daughter, Tabitha Spence, and great grandson, Micah Stride, Tracy Gordon and her husband, Chris and their children, McKinley and Cameron; a sister, Jennifer Clark and her daughter, Courtney Clark; and a brother, Douglas Clark;. A time of visitation will be from 10 – 11 am Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home, with services beginning at 11 am.
