Frankie Dewayne “Wayne” Renfroe
Wayne Renfroe, age 68, of Laurel Hill, Florida, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at his daughter’s home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 20, 1949 in Florala, Alabama to Evelyn and Lester Renfroe.
Wayne worked with Toolan Development for 24 years and was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. He was a mastercraftsman in construction and he loved working. His hobbies were fishing, cooking, and watching John Wayne Westerns, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and raising his five daughters.
He was preceded in death by; mother of his five daughters, Joyce Renfroe; his son, John Wayne Renfroe; father, Lester Renfroe and sister, Juanita Baham.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Evelyn Beal; daughters, Tabatha Reynolds and husband David, Michelle Renfroe, Stephanie Rodriquez and husband Mauricio, Kimberly Miranda and husband James, and Angela Renfroe and fiancé Jacob; sisters, Glenda Lanasse, Syretha Stokes and husband James, Patricia Locke and husband Wallace, Delores Bass and husband Clyde, and Cindy Enright and husband Jim; ten grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor, Morgan, Alaina, Alexa, Madison, Mallory, Abigail, Samuel and Natalie.
The celebration of Wayne’s life will be on Thursday August 23, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with Reverend Mike McVay officiating. Burial will follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
