William "Bill" Weaver Obituary

Weaver, William A, "Bill", age 83, resident of Crestview, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2018.  He was born March 22, 1935 in Lakeland, Georgia.  Bill was a graduate of St Petersburg High School in 1953, and is a US Army and Koran War Veteran.  Bill owned his own electrical business early in his career and was a Licensed Master Electrician.  As a General Superintendent for Downs Electrical, he successfully managed the construction of numerous healthcare and acute care hospital facilities across the country including a major terminal expansion for the Orlando International Airport. Bill retired in 2008 after 40 plus years in the electrical industry. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, college football, face timing his Great Grand Daughter and was an avid golfer. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Winifred Weaver, and sister Carolyn Lair.  Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, J. Maxcine, son Marcus Weaver and his wife Kris of Mulvane, KS; 4 grandchildren, Kourtney Bell, Blake Gunter and her husband Seth, Sydney and Garrett Weaver; and 1 Great Grand Daughter Willow Grace Gunter, and many other loving relatives and friends.

 

The family will conduct a private family service to be announced at a later date.
