Obituary

Adonis DeShawn Wilson, loving husband of Latricia Wilson, passed away on 4 February 2023.

Adonis was born  on 30 September 1980 to Annie Vincent in Detroit, MI. After Adonis graduated from Wilcox High school in 1998 he went on to College which he left to join the Army National Guard. In 2000, Adonis became the father Adonis. In 2007, he joined the Marine Corps where he excelled as an Embarkation Specialist. In 2009, he met his spouse Latricia in Havelock, NC whom he married in 2013 in Hempstead, NY in 2013. During his military career, he deployed several times in service to his country until his retirement in Feb 2017.

Adonis was preceded by his dad, uncle, grandfather, and grandmother. He is survived by:  his spouse Latricia, sons Adonis and Estavion; mom Annie, brothers Andre  (Crystal) Wilson and Trevell (Helena) Coleman , nieces, nephews, a grandchild, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am  on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.
