Albert F. Kovarik, Jr

Al Kovarik age 66 of Baker passed away on Wednesday January 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Bay Shore, NY on January 6, 1956, to Al, Sr., and Marie Kovarik. Al graduated high school and worked for the Department of Public Works in New York for 35 years before retiring. Al and his wife Lori moved to Baker almost 10 years ago. Al was an active member of the Spanish Trail Cruisers car club, and he loved his Chevelle. He loved fishing and golfing, but most of all he loved his family. Al was preceded in death by his parents Al & Marie Kovarik and mother & father-in-law Max and Ronnie Lyman. Al is survived by his wife of 43 years Lori Kovarik; children: Veronica Vroulets and her husband Chris, and Albert Kovarik, III and girlfriend Erin McGrellis; sisters: Judy Boeree and Barbara Isoldi, and one granddaughter Aubree Kovarik. A celebration of Al’s life will be held on Saturday January 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home.
