Alfonso Willard Procopio 

August 12, 1970 – August 1, 2024 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alfonso Willard Procopio, who left us on August 1, 2024. Born on August 12, 1970, in Washington, DC, Alfonso, known affectionately as Al, was the beloved son of Raymond Francis Procopio and Anita Ree Procopio (Herrin). 

Al was united in marriage to Desiree Margot Procopio (DeJarnette) on November 8, 1996, in Cecil County, Maryland. Their marriage was a testament of deep love and commitment.  

Al was the Founder, President, and former CEO of the ISMP Club, where he made significant contributions and touched many lives.  An avid outdoorsman and a passionate horse racing enthusiast, Al found joy in the simple pleasures of life.  #bestdayever 

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Anita and many other cherished loved ones.  He is survived by his devoted wife Desiree; his three children, Jesse, Amber, and Ally (John); his brother Raymond; and many other relatives who will miss him dearly. 

Al’s spirit, kindness, and dedication will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. His legacy will live on through his family, friends and framily.   

A memorial service to celebrate Al’s life will be held in Florida as well as Maryland.  All who knew him are welcome to attend and honor his memory.  Details will be shared at a later date.   

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Legion Auxiliary Post 75, 898 E James Lee Blvd., Crestview, FL 32539 in Al’s honor.
