Amanda Rose Shirley 
June 3, 1988 – September 28, 2024

Amanda Rose Shirley, born Amanda Rose Lyon on June 3, 1988 and known to her parents by her childhood nickname "Bocky", passed into the  arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 28, 2024.

Born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Amanda lived a life full of compassion, joy, and deep love for those around her. She passed peacefully in her home, accompanied by her beloved emotional support dog, Zoey, who brought her great comfort in her final years.

Amanda is survived by her loving parents, David and Debra Lyon; her cherished sisters, Valerie Marie Grant and Alyssa Nicole Lyon; and her cousin, April, who was more like a sister to her.  She leaves her three children; Carter James Shirley, Calista Marie Lyon, & Anthony David Robinson, along with her nephew Thomas David Grant.

Amanda's kind, generous heart and warm spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her light shone brightly in the lives of those she touched, she found beauty and wonder in simple things and her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends.

A private service will be held for close family and friends to honor her life.
