Anthony "Tony" St. Vincent Obituary

Anthony (Tony) David St. Vincent, Sr, 48, of Crestview, FL passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends after a brave, hard fought battle with brain cancer.  Tony was born on October 25, 1977 in Escanaba, Michigan and a 1996 graduate of Grand Ledge High School, Grande Ledge, Michigan.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Lynn (Stade) St. Vincent of Michigan and his brother, Nicholas St. Vincent of Oregon.

Tony was a United States Air Force veteran and retired civil servant having dedicated almost 27 years to our nation serving mostly at Eglin, AFB, Florida, but also serving during his active-duty time at Cannon AFB, NM as well as Ramstein AB, Germany with deployments to several other locations.  He was a firetruck mechanic by trade and prided himself of being able to fix anything.  Tony also loved spending time outdoors and was most at peace near the water.  He spent many years owning and enjoying a boat with his family and friends in our local waters as well as golfing many of the local courses.  He also dedicated himself to caring for and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of over 21 years, Melissa (Hodgson), whom he married on June 19, 2004.  Tony loved life, made the best of most situations and cared deeply for those closest to him.  Tony would tell you his biggest accomplishment was his son and best friend, Anthony Jr. of Crestview, FL.  Together they shared a passion for sports of all kinds, especially baseball where Tony worked tirelessly to assist Anthony in his goal of playing at the highest level.  They also shared a deep bond over Detroit professional sports and University of Michigan athletics. He was also a wonderfully loving step father to Devin Levesque of Crestview, FL and enjoyed much time discussing cars, trucks, engines and the mechanics of it all.  Tony fully embraced and loved his title of “Papi” to his “Ava baby,” as well, Ava Danielle Levesque of Crestview, FL.

Tony is also survived by his father, David John St. Vincent (Tish) of Lady Lake, Florida, his brother Paul Ryan St. Vincent (Carla) of Fowler, MI, several aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, brothers from other mothers, and friends; specifically, the Dolce, Levesque, and Stone families.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 5-7 pm with a short service following visitation at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home & Crematory, Crestview, FL.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local Disabled American Veterans organization.

Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview. Guest book and condolences are available online at www.whitehurstpowellfuneralhome.com
