Arlene Lent

On January 6, 2025, Arlene Veronica Lent, 86, of Crestview, FL passed away peacefully and is in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She was a God fearing woman, and a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, prayers, and love in abundance.  She loved Jesus and was looking forward to heaven and being reunited with family and friends.  A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the church family at First Baptist Church Crestview, Florida.  For numerous years, she could be found visiting shut ins in many nursing facilities and homes, bringing flowers, smiles, encouragements and prayer. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, encouragement, and strength.

She was predeceased by John her husband of 49 years; and son Donald.  Arlene will be fondly remembered by her children, Gladys (Rick), Melody Diane, JC (Nancy), Mary (Robert), Melody Christine, and daughter-in-law, Janet; a VW Camper Van full of grand; great grand; and great great grand children; brother, Donald (Maureen), Sister Nancy. along with numerous other family members and countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.

A visitation and celebration of Arlene’s life will be held on January 21, 2025 at 9:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Crestview, 171 Hickory Ave. Crestview, Florida 32536.
