Barbara Ann Fleming, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Silvercrest Manor. She was born on November 18, 1930, in Archer, Florida to John and Rose Wagner. Barbara was a registered nurse and worked as a school nurse at Bob Sikes Middle School. She graduated from the University of Florida and loved her gators. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and painting. She also liked to watch golf and UF football; she never met a stranger and always made friends easily. Barbara enjoyed her sons, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, her husband Jesse Brenton Fleming.
Barbara leaves behind her two sons; Mike Fleming, and wife Connie, and Kevin Fleming, and wife Marcia; grandchildren, Heath, Kendrick, and wife Ashely, Cecillee, and husband Aaron, Jessa, and husband Matt; great grandchildren, Finley, Fisher, Emma, and Zeppelin; niece, Reeda Culbreath, and husband Steve; and special friend, Robin Davlin, who she loved dearly.
The celebration of Barbara’s life will be on Friday April 8, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Crestview with burial to follow at Live Oak Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.
