Barbara Jane Williams

Barbara Williams age 74 of Crestview passed away on December 20, 2022, at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born in Flomaton, AL on February 21, 1948, to Terry and Carroll Smelley. Barbara grew up in our area with her family. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of them. Barbara loved to go fishing and camping. She loved her fur baby Lulu, but most of all she loved her grandkids and being apart of whatever they were involved in. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Butch and Mike Smelley; sisters Pam and Debbie; gradchildren Ashley and Little Robby and great great grandson Malik.

Sons: Clint Williams, Jr and his wife Tammy, Donald Ray Williams and his wife Vickie, Robert Lee Williams, and Dexter James Williams and his wife Christie; daughters: Mary Jane Williams, Angela Faye Thompson and Ginger Richard and her husband Todd; brother Robert Smelley, sisters: Shelia Davis and Charlene Powell. Also surviving are her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

          The celebration of Barbara’s life will take place on Saturday January 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m.
