Becky Lynn Arnold

It is with heavy hearts the family of Becky Lynn Arnold announce her passing on September 15, 2023 in Pensacola, FL.  She was born on July 6, 1979 in East Ridge, TN. She was preceded by her husband, Chad Arnold; father, Raymond Rhinehart; step-father, Robert Hodges; grandparents, Julius Rhinehart and Gloria Talley, Jack and Stela Rush and Wanda and George Helton; aunt Melissa “Sissy” Helms and her bonus papa, Don Hattaway.

Becky leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Connor Arnold; her daughter, Ava Arnold; mother and stepfather, Anita and Doug Helton; sister, Misty Rhinehart; brother and best friend, Allen Rhinehart (Heather Campbell); aunts and uncles, Beverly & Thomas Knox, Mary & Rob Kellakis, Amanda Pierce and Billy Cash; Chosen sisters and keepers of her secrets, Nicole Bailey, Dey Nicoll, Vickie Moore and Autumn Hall; bonus mom, Debby Hattaway; parents in law, Gary & Theresa Arnold; sister in law, Kristi Arnold. Becky is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends from all walks of life.

She was currently employed at Silver Crest Nursing & Rehab but formerly worked at Shoal Creek Nursing & Rehab and Navarre Gardens. She was a LPN and truly had a servant’s heart. She was very conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect and true compassion. She had never been accused of being shy or quiet. Quite the contrary, Becky never met a stranger for long. You could not help yourself but to love Becky. She pulled you into her world and it was a crazy fun adventure. Becky enjoyed everything outdoors from horseback riding to bungee cord jumping to freshwater fishing. She will always hold the title “Passenger Princess”, but the one thing she loved the most was her family, and that’s where her true heart was.  She was a treasure to all who knew her and was fortunate enough to call Becky a friend. She will be loved beyond words and missed greatly.

 A visitation will be held at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on Thursday, September 21 from 5 pm to 7 pm.  On Friday, September 22, Brother Charles Smith will officiate the service at 1 pm with interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery.  Education was important to Becky, in lieu of flowers a basket will be placed at the funeral home for condolence cards, words of remembrance and donations to further her children’s education.
