Becky Ward

Becky Ward, age 54, passed away on January 9, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida. She was born on October 23, 1966 in Crestview, Florida to Doris and Barney Ward. She was a cheerleader at Baker School where she graduated in 1984. She was a member of Milligan Assembly of God Church. Becky worked for Okaloosa Correctional Institute and L3 throughout the years. She loved to dance, sing, karaoke, and gardening. She loved flowers, plants, and shopping on QVC and HSN. She dearly loved her dogs, Nakita and Diesel. Becky was a happy, bubbly, and joyful lady. She was the life of the party. Her grandson, Wyatt, was the apple of her eye and Becky was known to him as Granny B. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Barney Ward.

She was survived by her mother, Doris Ward; daughter, Bridget Lusk (Benjamin); sister, Jenee Ward (David Lowe); grandson, Wyatt Lusk; and niece and nephew, Kandace Gordon and Caleb Gordon.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be following the service at Milligan Baptist Church Cemetery.
