Benjamin F. Martin, Jr.

Benjamin F. Martin, Jr. age 89 of Crestview, Fl passed away on Tuesday morning September 14, 2021, in Pensacola, Fl. He was born in Lancaster, PA on April 21, 1932, to Ben and Edna Martin. Ben moved to Crestview in 1959 with his family. He started Crestview Mennonite Church and pastored there for more than 50 years. He was also owner & operator of Crestview Farm & Garden for many years. Ben loved God & his church. Ben also enjoyed helping and serving people, but most of all Ben loved his wife Esther and his family. Benjamin Martin was preceded in death by his parents, a son Ben Martin, III, two daughters: Esther Louise Martin & Nancy Lois Martin.

            Ben is survived by his wife of 69 Esther Martin, sons: Jay Martin & wife Doris; Carl Martin & wife Deborah. Daughter-in-law Carol Martin; grandchildren: Rebecca and husband Mitchell, Nathan, Steven, Jason and wife Carrie, Justin, Rachel, Sarah, Daniel and wife Jenny; many loving great grandchildren; great, great grandchildren; foster children, and other extended  family.

            A time of visitation with the family will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. A graveside service for Ben will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. at Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery with Pastor John Kemp officiating.
