Betty Allen

Betty Allen, age 73, of Crestview, passed away January 10, 2019, in Pensacola, FL. She was born January 21, 1945 in Newark, New Jersey to Lewis and Clara Murdzia Tosies. Betty was an avid Bingo player, and she loved the outdoors and nature, enjoying the beach and gardening. She loved the squirrels that lived in her park-like backyard, training them to eat peanuts from her hand. She especially loved her furry family members, Rusty, Freckles and Raven. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son, George; two brothers, Richard and Joseph, and his wife Anita Tosies. Betty is survived by her husband, Danny Allen; daughter and daughter-in-law, Anna Marie Condento and Denise Timmons; a sister and brother in law, Lorraine and Alfred Andrade; and three nephews, Joseph, Ricky and Christopher Tosies. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville, celebrated by Father Stephen Voyt. Committal services and burial will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery, Fort Walton Beach. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
