Betty Curenton

Betty Curenton, 91, passed away 9/27/2025.  Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Joe Curenton and her daughter Jaynee Bryant.  She is survived by her son Thomas Curenton (Dena), daughter Jodee Sellers (Doug), brother-in-law, Dr. Larue Curenton, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Betty was an active member of First Baptist Church Crestview and served several years in their Sunday School department and also led training statewide in Sunday School development with the Southern Baptist Association.  She and Claudia Patton cowrote, “Crestview the Forkland” which is still being sold by the City of Crestview.  A memorial service  will be held  at First Baptist Church of Crestview On Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:00am.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am at the church.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to First Baptist Church Crestview or take your family out to dinner in her honor.  One of her greatest joys was a meal with as many of her family members around her as possible.
