Betty Jean (Sawyer) Tillman

Betty was born on January 25, 1943, to her parents, William and Lorine Sawyer.
Betty left this world on Thursday, May 28, 2020 with her son Tony by her side.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her son Damon Tillman, sister Peggy and ex husband Larry
Tillman and most recent loss of daughter in law Ava Lee (Damon) Minchew.
Betty and Larry were married on September 11, 1959. Together they had four sons, seven
grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her sons, Larry (Brenda) Tillman, Tony (Becky) Tillman and Gary (Cindy) Tillman;
sisters Karron Davis and Pam Averette.Son in law Dennis Minchew.Her grandchildren and great
grandchildren along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and true friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Mir and his staff, especially Mrs. Betty, who comforted us. We would like to
thank the staff at Shoal Creek Rehabilitation in Crestview for keeping us updated to her status and
answering our many calls.
A celebration of life with family and friends will be in Mobile on June 6 from 12-4.
