Beverly Barefield

Beverly Ann Barefield, age 82, a beloved resident of Niceville, Florida, passed away on August 28, 2024. She touched many lives during her 37 years in the Okaloosa County School system and was known respectfully to many as “Coach”. She was a graduate of Crestview High School in 1959 and attended Southern Mississippi College where she obtained a degree in Physical Education. One of her greatest joys after retirement was playing in the dirt in her yard, and she was a proud member of the Valparaiso Garden Club. Being surrounded by her family was what she loved most in life. She is preceded in death by her father, Clarke B. Barefield, Sr., her mother, Dorothy H. Barefield, Grandmother, Nola Mae Hodges and Aunt, Beverly Ball. No service is scheduled at this time.
