Brian Eugene Halbert, The Telephone Man, age 58, a resident and well-loved and trusted businessman of Crestview, Florida. At death, he passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at North Okaloosa Medical Center from Cardiac arrest.
He is survived by: Wife, Ann Halbert of 24 years, Crestview, Florida; his mother Leona Halbert, of Hallsville, Texas, Father and Stepmother Curtis and Kay Halbert of Lubbock, Texas. Children; Daughter, Mallory Ann Halbert & husband Juan David Echeverri Murrillo of Medellin, Colombia South America. Son, Mitchell Gene Halbert & wife, Melissa Halbert of Crestview, Florida. Son, Nick McKinley & wife, Jill Spears McKinley, of Navarre, Florida. Brother, Myron Halbert & wife Rene Halbert of Hallsville, Texas. Step Siblings, Amy Eppley & husband, Darren Eppley of Lubbock, Texas. Grandchildren; Ethan Halbert, Abigail Halbert, and Marnie Jayne McKinley, along with numerous Nieces and nephews.
The celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home.
