Carolyn Lee Carpenter

Carolyn Lee Carpenter of Holt, FL passed December 31, 2020. She was born October 27, 1952 in Galveston, TX to  Jewell and Billie Johnson Hardy.  She was Christian by faith.  Carolyn was a Register Nurse for over 42 years.  She spent many of those years as a traveling nurse and lived in many parts of the country including Arizona, California and throughout Florida.  She loved to travel, enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and caring for her dog.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of over 18 years, James C Carpenter, her son David Stanly of Ft. Meyers, FL and daughter Lisa Hammond and her husband Phillip of Port Naches, TX.  She is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister and grandson Ryan Hammond and grand daughter Ashley Vacek and her husband Richard Richards of Austin, TX.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation Friday January 8, 2021 at 10:00am at the chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home 436 W. James Lee Blvd. Crestview, FL where funeral services will be held at 11:00am.  Services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Don Cadenhead followed by a committal at Old Bethel Cemetery.
