Charlotte Renee Koch, 24, born in Lemoore, California, passed away 14 November 2023 in Crestview, Florida.
She was a Navy brat and spent time in numerous areas of the country but after three years in Florida, always felt her home was in Crestview.
Forward and headstrong, she was always confident in what she wanted to do in the moment and often naturally led others to follow her on different adventures.
Her fashion sense throughout her life was both unique and inspiring combining her creativity with a confidence, second to none.
In high school, she held simultaneous jobs as a Starbucks barista and working in the local movie theatre, satisfying her love of coffee and free movies.
After graduation, she returned to Crestview where she found a passion for helping abandoned cats by volunteering at the local rescue, roaming the city looking to save strays, and fostering cats waiting for new homes. Over six years, she rescued and homed over a hundred animals.
She loved music, art, fine clothes, expensive meals, and video and board games (and hated losing to anyone). Charlotte adored her son, Aurelius, and together explored nature, aquariums, and drawing.
She is survived by her parents Carl and Sherry Koch, her son Aurelius Ramos, brother Maxwell Koch and further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on November 16 starting at 10 o’clock followed by a celebration of life at 11 o’clock at the Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home on 436 West James Lee Blvd., Crestview, Florida.
Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview. Guest book and condolences are available online at www.whitehurstpowellfuneralhome.com
