Clifton "Cliff" "Buddy" Lowe

Clifton Lowe age 88, of Crestview, Florida, passed away Thursday morning, October 5, 2023.  He was born in Columbia, Mississippi, on March 14, 1935, to William and Gladys Lowe.  Clifton lived in Fort Walton Beach for 30 years before moving to Crestview in 1990.  He was a fully devoted grateful son to his faithful heavenly Father.  He was patriarch, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to his family.  He was employed by several civil service companies over the years, each of which utilized radar to track aircraft at Eglin AFB.  Clifton was preceded in death by his parents William(1965) and Gladys(1986), his brother Lane(1978), his sister Dejuona(2007), and his wife of 50 years, Dorothy(2008).  Survivors include daughter Nina Bazzell(Gary) of Fort Walton Beach,FL, son Wayne Lowe(Linda) of Hendersonville, TN, daughter Trina Watkins(Tommy) of Murrayville, GA, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at 1PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Crestview, FL.  The celebration of Clifton's life will follow at 2PM with Reverend Duane Lowe officiating.  Burial will follow at Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.  Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
