Daniel "Dan" Hal Steverson

Daniel Hal Steverson, born November 1, 1961, in Bonifay, Florida entered into eternal rest on June 11, 2023, at his home in Crestview, Florida.

Dan worked at Reliance Test and Technology for 42 years. He attended Milligan Assembly of God, where he faithfully served as Senior Royal Ranger Commander.

Dan was an avid fisherman and was always ready to give "fishin' lessons" to anyone willing to go fishing with him. You might not catch any fish, but you would definitely have an experience you'd never forget! He was a member of two Bass Fishing Clubs, The Crestview Bass Association, and the Sportsman Bass Club.

Dan was called of God to teach boys through the ministry of Royal Rangers. He led by example the Royal Ranger Code: Alert, Clean, Honest, Courageous, Loyal, Courteous, Obedient and Spiritual. he loved, joked with, taught and shared the Gospel with the next generation of Christ like men to become lifelong servant leaders. He served his post faithfully and it can't be overstated how much he will be missed.

Dan was welcomed at Heaven's Gate by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his parents, Leroy and Barbara Steverson; His In-Laws, DeLeon and Emma Ward; One brother, Andrew Steverson and his two brothers in laws, Fred "Buzz" Ward and Dale Ward, and a host of Family and Friends.

He is survived by his wife, Chris and son, Shelby Steverson; 4 brothers, Jimmy (Lisa), Billy (Terri), Paul and Adam (Vickie); Stepmother, Teen Steverson, his sister-in-law, Rose Ward. His spiritual mother, Maggie Barrow; Spiritual brothers: Troy (Sheila) Watson, Tommy (Lynda) Carmical and Tim (Jodi) Cooper; Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends, fishing buddies, and church family, who loved him dearly.

There will be a time of visitation, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Milligan Assembly of God, with a Celebration of Life, Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at Milligan Assembly of God. Burial to follow at Live Oak Church at Shoal River Cemetery.
