Danielle Katrice Dixon was born October 7, 1985, in Columbia,
South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of Marquis A. Salley
and Regina Jamison Salley, and devoted wife of Aaron E. Dixon.
She departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday,
December 2, 2022, at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, Florida.
She received Christ at an early age and worshiped at several
different ministries to include Eglin AFB Chapel, Praise Power and
Compassion Ministries, and Life Point Church both of Crestview,
FL. Danielle firmly believed that Jesus gave his life so that we all
may live, and that only through Jesus Christ will we enter the
Kingdom of Heaven.
As a military family member, Danielle received her primary and
secondary education from a number of schools to include
Lakenheath Elementary School, Lakenheath England, Richburg
Middle school, Crestview, Florida, culminating in her 2003
graduation from Crestview High School, Crestview, Florida. She
continued her education at the University of West Florida and later
Okaloosa Technical College graduating in 2010 as an LPN.
Continuing to strive for improvement, she later attended and
graduated in 2019 from Pensacola State College with an Associate
in Science Degree in Nursing in their RN program. Her nurturing
nature led her to a career as a health care professional, caring and
giving to others freely, asking nothing in return. Her motto, " If I
can help someone along the way, then my living will not be in vain".
Danielle's precious memories are cherished by her parents, Marquis
and Regina Salley, husband, Aaron E. Dixon; daughter, Katrice
Salley -Sherrod, and son Aaron Dixon Jr; one brother, Marquis
(Nanyanka) Salley Jr, honorary sister, Tina Jernigan; two uncles,
Carlton (Greta) Jamison, and Kelly (Celia) Jamison; 2 aunts Sendra
(Daniel) Hugins, Bobbi Jamison, honorary aunt Marjory Shields,
and a host of other loving relatives, friends, and co -workers, all of
whom will miss her dearly.
