Dennis Lobingier

Dennis Lobingier age 74 of Crestview passed away on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Mount Pleasant, PA to Paul and Evelyn Lobingier on September 27, 1944. Dennis served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Eglin where he worked as a Electrician Supervisor. Dennis loved old cars, especially working on them and restoring them. He loved listening to old music and traveling to the mountains with his family. Dennis attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Wendy Lobingier. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Lela Lobingier, sisters: Jane Lobingier Clark and Paula Lobingier Mekulski. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Bud and Wilma Madden and Jerry and Sue Madden. Nieces and Nephews: Kevin Madden and wife Rachel, Robert and John Clark, Dianna Carney, Crystal Miller and husband Mike and a great Niece Gracie Carter A memorial Mass for Dennis will be held on Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 6:00 p.m. A private family burial will take place at a later time. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
