It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Dollie Woerner, who left us peacefully on February 22, 2025. She was 89 years old, born in Ponce De Leon, Florida on Oct 10, 1935. She was a devoted military spouse for over 63 years to Theordore Woerner. Dollie was a mother to five.
She is survived by three daughters, 18 grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Her life was marked by incredible strength, resilience, and perseverance.
Dollie’s legacy is one of sacrifice and dedication. As a supportive Air Force wife, she embraced the challenges of military life, putting the needs of her husband and children first. She faced adversity head-on overcoming a birth defect, enduring years of childhood bullying and rising above the cruelty she encountered in her youth with grace, faith in Christ, and courage that few could match. Through it all, Dollie remained unwavering in her love of God, family and in sharing kindness to others.
Her greatest joy came from being a wife and mother. Strong and resourceful, Dollie was a women who sacrificed her desires and needs to give back to loved ones. She lived a life full of quiet strength, always putting others before herself. Her enduring love, resilience, and unyielding support will be remembered. She had a heart capable of great forgiveness, and she showed kindness to many in life. She will be missed, but her legacy lives on in her family and the lives she touched while on this earth.
