Donald E. Freed, Jr

            Donald Freed, Jr age 62 passed away on Saturday November 6, 2021, at North Okaloosa Medical Center. He was born in Lumberton, NC on June 15, 1959, to Donald Freed, Sr. & Barbara Sandlin. Donald served his country in the United States Army 101st Airborne. He loved to sing and loved public speaking. Donald loved to play golf and bowl. He enjoyed playing instruments and was the kind of guy who never met a stranger. Donald would do anything to help someone out in need.

            Donald is survived by his wife of 29 years Patricia B. Freed, his parents: Donald E. Freed, Sr & Barbara Sandlin; his children Elizabeth Pittman, Roger Pittman and his wife Catherine & Donald “Trey” Freed, III; brothers: Eddie & Kevin Freed; grandchildren: Tristin Pittman, Juliana Bascom & Gabriella Pittman.

            There will be a service for Donald at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Donald’s memory to the American Diabetes Association.
