It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Edna Aultman, who left us on January 8, 2024. Born on May 12, 1946, Edna lived a life that was deeply rooted in family, charity, and the dissemination of love.
Edna's most cherished roles were undoubtedly those of a loving mother and a devoted wife, her warmth and tenderness lighting up the lives of those around her. Among her survivors are her son, George Aultman, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond, and His wife Darlene and two grandchildren Britany and Blake. Her son James Aultman and 3 grandchildren, Jonathan, Brendon, and Cody. And her light, her niece, Cindy Grigsby, who she held truly dear.
A strong advocate for veterans, Edna was deeply compassionate and regularly engaged in endeavors to help those in need. Her unfailing dedication to serving others will forever be remembered, with her best advice to all being to "put others before yourself". Her influence extended far and wide, making a notable impact on the lives of many.
Edna's life was marked by an extraordinary degree of kindness and generosity. Her legacy is one that is infused with love and selflessness, and she will always be remembered for her emphasis on putting others before herself. Her absence will be deeply felt in the hearts of her loved ones.
As we mourn the passing of Edna Aultman, we also celebrate her life, cherishing the lessons she imparted and the love she shared. She will be truly missed and forever loved. We are consoled by the knowledge that her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us on our own journeys.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 5:00-6:00pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with the service starting at 6:00pm.
