Emily Moore

Emily Moore age 85 of Crestview, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 9, 2018.  She was born in Coloma, Michigan on April 25, 1933.  She worked several jobs in her life, a bank teller and a manger of a clothing store, but she would say, “the best job she ever had” was managing a dime store.  Emily was a member of First Baptist Church of Crestview.

            Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Glenn Moore; sons Glenn Moore, Jr and wife Elaine and Kevin Moore.  Also surviving is one granddaughter.

            The celebration of Emily’s life will be on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Travelers Rest Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 p.m.
