Emma Jean Fuqua

Mrs. Emma J. Fuqua, age 89, was born on May 6, 1935 in Andalusia, Alabama. Lost her battle from an extended illness on February 4, 2025. She is preceded in death by her beloved Husband of 68 years, Delmer H. Fuqua; father, Mr. Charles Pittman; mother, Ms. Bessie Irene Pittman; sisters, Nomie Lee Smith and Myrtle Jimmerson; step granddaughter, Alexis Cosson. She will be met at Heaven’s Gate by the Lord Jesus along with her Preceding Family and Friends that went before her.

Surviving is her son, Mr. Larry R. Fuqua and wife Ella; daughter, Mrs. Vickey Roberts and husband Wendell (aka, Butch); granddaughter, Mrs. Candy Lee Wesson; 2 step grandchildren Teresa Moran, and Heather Anne Havis; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
