Esilou “Tiny” Moulton
Tiny Moulton age 97 of Crestview passed away on January 27, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 23, 1922 in Hacoda, AL to Ruth and John Hayes. Tiny graduated from Florala High School in 1940, she was the Salutatorian of her class. Tiny moved to Crestview in 1948 with her family. Tiny was an active member at First Baptist Church of Crestview since 1948. She and her husband Bud owned, and operated Moulton’s Department Store on Mainstreet in Crestview and they owned a Botel on the Okaloosa Island. Tiny was also a Realtor. She and her husband loved to travel in their motorhome and often times would travel with friends. After her husband passed away, she continued to travel with her friend Ann Jeter. Tiny loved flowers and loved to work in her flower beds. She was an excellent cook and loved to cook for her family. Tiny loved life, but most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bud Moulton, 2 brothers: Lester and Roland Hayes; sister Marie Hayes Sheer, and son-in-law Jerry Brigante.
Survivors include her children: Carolyn Moulton Brigante, Richard C. “Rick” Moulton and his wife Gloria, and James M. “Mike” Moulton. Grandchildren: Paige Smith, Lee Taylor (Misty), Jason Moulton (Krista), Kam Moulton Nelson (Drew), Jamie Moulton Baggett, Misty Moulton O’Quin (Jason);
Great grandchildren: Reagan, Mackenzie, Chandler, Madison, Kayla, Brett, Easton, Jared, Chase, Dylan, Jacob, Rylan, Bella, Micah & McKenna, and Idaliah, and two great-great grandsons Aiden, Aubrey, Jaxon and Harrison. Along with numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
The celebration of Tiny’s life will be on Thursday January 30, 2020 at First Baptist Church Crestview at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Stan Lewis and Fran Picker officiating. Burial will follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Tiny's memory to the First Baptist Church of Crestview Building Fund.
