Eunice Reiss

Eunice Reiss age 70 of Crestview passed away on Friday January 14, 2022. She was born in New Orleans, LA on February 20, 1951, to Curtis and Jerlene Hanson. Eunice worked for 22 years at Pensacola NAS as a Personnel Specialist. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Crestview. Eunice loved her job and loved to work, she loved people and never met a stranger. Eunice loved life, and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and three siblings. Eunice is survived by her husband of 52 years Michael Reiss; son Hal Reiss and a daughter Lori Smith and her husband Steve; her mother Jerlene East and her grandchildren: Phoebe Smith, Reagan Smith, Samantha Reiss, and Elizabeth Reiss. A time of visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday January 19, 2022, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service on Thursday January 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
