Floyd Franklin Beddow

  Floyd Franklin Beddow, age 90 went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was living with his daughter in Cornelius, NC at the time of his death, surrounded by family.

He was born August 2, 1933 in Congo (Perry County) OH, to the late Clyde and Daisy Beddow. He worked for General Electric for 20 years after he retired from the army. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served his country in multiple wars. Preceded in death by his wife Sue Beddow; sons Tracy, Joe and Sam Beddow; and sister Nellie Beddow. Survived by his daughter Kandy (Perry) Brown; Sons Chester (Leigh Tate) Beddow, Jeff (Susie) Beddow, Grandchildren Stacia, Kitty, Traci (Kory), Taylor, Brittanie, Wyatt, Bailey and step grandson Victor, Great grandchildren Caleb, Kylee, Domenic, Conner, Nova and Mattie.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on December 8th at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview Florida. There will be a graveside military honors service at 2 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola Florida.
