Fred Knall

On June 6, 2022 Fred Joseph Knall, Sr. loving husband to Larzetta DeBord went home to meet the Lord at the age of 62.  In his death he gave the gift of sight to two individuals through the donation of his cornea.

Fred was born on August 26th   ,1959, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Fred and Geraldeen Knall. He served in the Marine Corps Reserves and worked for Majestic Steel USA, Inc. for 29+ years.

Fred loved bowling and playing pool. He always had a warm smile. He loved 70’s music and had many original vinyl albums.

Fred is preceded in death by his mother and father-N-law, Dorothy and James DeBord; his sister-n-law Anjetta Broussard and his brother-n-law Matthew DeBord.

Fred is survived by his wife Larzetta DeBord and his two sons Victor (Tiffany) and Fred Knall, Jr., (Miranda).  He is also survived by his three nephews, James P DeBord, II,(Summer) Nathaniel DeBord, and Zachary DeBord, whom he loved and mentored as a father figure after the death of their father, Matthew DeBord. 

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Michael Knall, Cheyenne Knall, Jayce, and Ivy DeBord. Additionally, Fred is survived by brother and sister-n-law, Joshua and Dawn DeBord. Finally his is survived by two sister-n-laws, Tracella Borgia and Ottie Priebe; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.  

A time of visitation will be held at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:00-9:00pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Milligan Assembly of God at 11:00am.
