Glenn Robert Coffin

Glenn Coffin, aged 77 of Crestview, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on October 12th. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Glenn was born on December 27th, 1947, in Springfield, VT. Glenn joined the Navy right out of high school where he served until 1994 when he retired as Chief Petty officer. He was a proud member of our local American Legion and VFW posts.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Mary Coffin, his sisters Janice Miller and Marguerite Beach, his brothers Phillip and Edwin Coffin, his nieces Phyllis and Amy, and wife of 35 years Diane L. Coffin.

He is survived by his wife Robbin Coffin, his son Alyx Coffin and his wife Beverley, his daughters Lisa Wooten and her husband Chris, Kristina English and her husband Connor, and Kathy Willliams, his grandchildren Terri, Sarah, Paul, Charity, Nathan, Joy, Simeon, Seth, Timothy, Skyler, Autumn-Lynn, Kristian, William, and Ian, his 16 great grandchildren, his nieces and nephews Jan, Larry, Phillip, Gina, Sam, Shelley, Barry, and Tim, and many close friends, all of whom loved him very much.

A visitation will be held at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16th from 5:00-7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery on Monday, October 20th at 1:00 PM.
