Harold Lee Walters, Jr.

 Harold Lee Walters, Jr., age 93 of Crestview and Omega, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his son’s home. He was born in Ty Ty, Ga on December 22, 1927 to Harold and Rena Walters. Junior moved to Crestview 3 years ago to live with his son and daughter in law. He loved to work and was a truck driver up until he was 80 years old. Junior loved going to the races with his wife, they would travel to Daytona to The Big Race every year. He loved visiting and talking with folks; loved to go fishing and loved his cowboy hat. Junior was preceded in death by his parents, 2 children: Earl Walters and Cherie Casey and a grandchild Candy Wright.

Junior is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian Walters; his children: Roger Walters and his wife Marie, Earlene Goodman and her husband Bruce, and Dale Walters and his wife Brenda;  one sister, Norma Miracle and her husband Bill; also surviving are his 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

 A visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. The celebration of Harold’s life will be on Monday January 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. EST at Omega Baptist Church in Omega, GA with a visitation to begin one hour prior at 10 am EST.  Burial will follow in the Omega Cemetery.
