Harry James McNutt,70, of Baker, Florida passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2026. He was born on September 18, 1955 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
Harry grew up in Wickliffe, Ohio. After graduation from Wickliffe High School, he worked at Towmotor Corporation as a machinist and union steward. Harry would later join the US Air Force and was an engineer working primarily on fighter jet defense systems. After serving in the Air Force, Harry joined then Hughes Aircraft and eventually settled on the Emerald Coast. He retired from Raytheon Aerospace as a Technical Engineer supporting various missile programs at home and abroad.
Beyond his career and service, Harry found great joy in life deep sea fishing, scuba diving, golfing, traveling the world or just hanging with his dogs and chickens. Harry was a loved and respected man who never met a stranger and could always bring a smile to your face. He was a long time member of the Krewe of Bowlegs and served on Honor Guard LV. Harry was and will always be a pirate.
A devoted partner, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend Harry is survived by his life partner Sharon, his mother Patricia, twin brother Larry(Nancy), his sister Diana(Joe), daughter Heather and son Lee, as well as 5 grandchildren Madison, Christian, Kylee, Logan and Kendall. He was preceded in death by his father Harry F McNutt, son Christopher McNutt and brother Bobby McNutt.
Harry will be interned at Barrancas National Cemetery on June 3, 2026 with a celebration of life following at The Gulf in Fort Walton Beach
