Helen Jeanette Mims

Helen Jeanette Mims, age 83, passed away March 19, 2021 in Crestview, Florida. She was born in Florala, Alabama on January 23, 1938 to Audrey and Alphus Bradley. Helen was a member of Westside Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey Ray Mims; and her sister, Betty Givens Williamson.

Helen is survived by her son, Marty Mims and wife Sheryl Mims; daughters, Cindy Reesey and her husband Robert Reesey and Jeanne McCullough and her husband Steven McCullough; grandchildren, Erin Douglas, Dana Landis, Robert Dean Reesey Jr, Christine Batchelor, Jessica Davis, and Tyler Davis; great grandchildren, Olivia Douglas, Benjamin Landis, Christopher Landis, Evan Reesey, Lelia Reesey, Carl Batchelor, Reese Batchelor, Ava Lowery, and Ella Davis; brothers, Austin Bradley, Robert Bradley, and Bobby Bradley; and sisters, Inez DeGraaf, and Peggy Horton.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Beal Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach beginning at 10:00 a.m.
