Henry Jackson “Jack” Lott, 94, passed away March 29, 2026. Born July 24, 1931, in Bossier City, Louisiana, he was the son of Henry Lott Sr. and Nora Broadus. Jack confessed and accepted Christ as his Savior and peacefully transitioned to be with God.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lott Sr. and Nora Broadus, and by his sons Keith, Kent and Dennis.
As a young man he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Over the years his work life was broad and industrious — he served as a supervisor in the oil fields, worked for the Border Patrol in Arizona, drove trucks, and became an entrepreneur, owning multiple businesses including an air conditioning and appliance company.
Jack lived by a few guiding principles he shared with others: striving to be the best at every task no matter the size, and always to follow through on a commitment. He was known for his storytelling and jokes, his generous and sacrificial heart and his openness in teaching others from the lessons of his own life.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce; daughters Linda, Jackie Sue (Jim), Kim, and Karina (Jeffrey); sons Michael (Kim), Maurice, Jeremiah, Brad, and Stephon; 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
