Henry P. Lockhart, Jr.

          Buddy Lockhart age 53 of Crestview passed away on Sunday April 10, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born in Grand Forks Air Force Base, N. D. on August 20, 1968, to Henry & Anne Lockhart. Buddy graduated from high school in Warner Robins, GA. He lived in the Okaloosa County area for many years, the last 9 years he lived in Crestview. Buddy worked as a sheet metal mechanic on airplanes & helicopters at Vertex Aerospace. He loved gaming. Buddy loved his music and was an avid Prince fan. Most of all he loved his family, especially grilling for them and taking his son Landon fishing and playing baseball with him. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Ray Yoder, grandparents Harold & Marie Brown, uncle Jack Brown and his aunt Marcia Brown.

            Buddy is survived by his wife of 13 years Prairie Lockhart; the apple of his eye Landon Lockhart; Parents: Henry Paul Lockhart, Sr. & his wife Jean; Ann Lockhart; sister Paula Vowell and numerous cousins and many friends.

            The celebration of Buddy’s life will be held on Thursday April 14, 2022, at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m.
