Hugh Gordon Light, Sr.

Hugh Light, Sr age 71 of Crestview passed away on Saturday November 28, 2020. He was born in Manilla, Philippines on February 16, 1949 to Clifford and Margaret Light. Hugh came to the United States in 1985 and he served his country in the United States Army. After and honorable discharge from the Army he worked as a diesel mechanic for many years. Hugh loved to fish and grilling out and he also loved working on his cars. He was an avid history buff, but most of all he loved his family. Hugh was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Cynthia Light. Hugh is survived by his children: Hugh Light, Jr and his wife Kristen, Cornella Sullivan and Wayne Thomas and Enoch Light; Also surviving are his grandchildren: Kailynn, Emma, Atlas, Malik, Keairra, and Jada. The family will hold a private family service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
